2013 Western Conference Championship: Game 4
Last night , the Blackhawks ended the 15 game winning streak of the Kings in the Staples Center. The Blackhawks were able to answer the bell, even without Defenseman Duncan Keith. Jonathan Quick mishandled a shot by Bryan Bickell and Corey Crawford mishandled a shot in front, which enabled Dustin Penner to score the second and last King goal of the game. In between and after, both goalies were as good as they could be.
The Chicago defense rose to the occasion and even though Sheldon Brookbank was -2 in the game, HC Joel Quennville thought he played a good game. It was evident how good a game the D was playing, as they limited the Kings to but 2 shots on goal in the 3rd and final period.
The series is now at 3-1 in favor of the Blackhawks and they can wrap it up on Saturday at home, at the "Madhouse on Madison". Let us hope.
