2013 Stanley Cup Finals Game 6
The Chicago Blackhawks stunned the the Bruins and the TD Gardens crowd last night as they scored 2 goals in 17 seconds last night to not only win Game 6, but the Stanley Cup as well. The Blackhawks have shown this resiliency all season long, and it was no more on display than last night with under 2 minutes remaining last night.
Things looked great for the home team when Milan Lucic beat Corey Crawford from in close with under 8 minutes left in regulation, but the Blackhawks did what they have done all season long. They did not go away.
First it was Bryan Bickell taking an excellent feed from Jonathan Toews and beating Tukka Rask through the "5-hole". Then, 17 seconds later, it was Dave Bolland taking a rebound off the goal post and slamming it into an almost empty net to give the Blackhawks the lead and the Cup.
