2013 Stanley Cup Finals: Game 4
The Blackhawks and the Bruins had combined for a total of 12 goals in the first three games of these Finals, and last night erupted for 11 in Game 4. A 5 goal 2nd period shocked the fans at TD Gardens and around the country, as both goaltenders were shaky at best, as shots rained on them from every angle. Corey Crawford showed that his glove hand may be the weakest part of his game. Tukka Rask just flat out played badly. Unless these two guys snap back into their normal mode, the next 2 or 3 games could be just as high scoring.
But I did say that the Blackhawks would win Game 4 and they did, and I am reminding you of my original prediction of Chicago in 6. I am still standing by that. I believe the re-emergence of Kane, Toews and Sharp, will power the Blackhawks to the Cup. We will see on Saturday night, at the "Madhouse on Madison".
