2013 Draft Picks

The Chicago Blackhawks were very busy on Draft Day, as they traded away two members of their Stanley Cup winning team to add draft choices for the future.

These were the two deals:

C Dave Bolland was sent to the Toronto Maple Leafs for three Draft Picks.  #'s 51 and 117 this year and a 4th Round Pick in 2014.

They also traded F Michael Frolik to the Winnipeg Jets for a 3rd Round Pick and a 5th Round Pick in this year's Draft.

These are the players that the Blackhawks selected yesterday at the Draft:

While I am sorry to say good-bye the Dave Bolland and Michael Frolik, I am happy that the Blackhawks picked well at the Draft and they are trying to gain some Cap room so that they can re-sign some key players and keep the level of Hockey that has won Chicago two Stanley Cup Championships in the past four years.
